The NEARLY FESTIVAL returns to Ipswich for a fourth year at  The Suffolk Show Ground at Trinity Park and is our only Nearly Festival to offer full camping facilities! A truly family festival experience features fantastic acts live on stage, a dedicated KIDS ZONE to keep the tear-aways busy all day, a delicious STREET FOOD MARKET with it’s amazing choice of foods and a chilled PUB IN THE PARK makes sure Dad doesn’t go thirsty and only pays pub prices!

Trinity Park is home to the Suffolk Show, a two day event which attracts in the region of 80,000 – 90,000 visitors from across the region and is recognised as a premier event in the UK. Centrally located in East Anglia & easily accessible from the A12/A14, Ipswich Town Centre and by rail and is set in 300 acres.

There are excellent transport links to get in and out of Ipswich and our early closing times are set for patrons to get home safely and in daylight.

There are excellent train routes into Ipswich from all over East Anglia and from Liverpool Street London.

Trinity Park is 5 miles from Ipswich railway station. There are regular services to London, Norwich and Cambridge.

Camping Pitches Priced at £45 for Friday, Saturday & Sunday
No discount for 1 or 2 nights.
Camping is only permitted within the designated areas -

Camping tickets must be bought in advance.
Camping is only allowed by holders of a Full Weekend ticket holders.
There are two camping areas, FAMILY camping and GENERAL camping.

Pitch & Electric

Camping Pitch to include:-
One Large tent or Two Small Tents + One Car per pitch ! (approx pitch size 6m x 6m)

A Caravan + car, Camper Van or Motorhome

Electrical Hook Up available upon request, £15 per hook. (Motorhome / Caravan only)

Showers & washrooms

Facilities are available for Free on site and in permanent buildings

Site must be cleared by 11am Monday morning.


Family camping is recommended for people with children who would like it a little
quieter in the evenings, and is located further away from the evening activities area.
General camping is for everyone else.

Neither the venue nor The Nearly Festival can accept responsibility for lost or stolen
property or damage to any vehicles while onsite

Vehicle checks will be in operation. You may be searched at the entrance. Any items
which the organisers consider may be used in an illegal or offensive manner shall be

Persons suspected of carrying out illegal and/or offensive activities
onsite may be searched. Food & Alcohol cannot be taken into the arena area.

No gas cylinders are permitted in the arena area. No open fires are allowed on site.
However, disposable BBQs are allowed in the campsite only, but the organisers
reserve the right to confiscate any disposable BBQs used irresponsibly.

No glass bottles to be brought in to the festival site. Persons bringing their own
alcoholic drinks may consume these in the camping area. No alcohol can be taken
into the arena.

Dogs are permitted, however, The Nearly Festival takes no responsibility for the
welfare of them. Owners are responsible for their dogs and within the Festival Arena
dogs should be kept on leads and should clean up after them.

Car checks will be in operation. Please do not leave your dogs in the cars.

Unlike the majority of festivals, we will allow you to park by your tent ( one car per pitch)
This allows you to keep your valuables locked in your car when you are away from your tent. Please do not leave valuables unattended in your camping area.

Please only use your allocated space when setting up camp.
